Ghatam Sukkanya Ramgopal - Popular lady Carnatic Ghatam artiste ,Sukkanya by her “GHATA THARANG” concept has brought Ghatam, which has been an accompanying instrument in carnatic music concerts, to the main platform.

For any musician, the appreciation from the audience and encouragement from the music organizations serves as tonic for improving their performance from concert to concert. Sukkanya is one among the 14 artistes selected at national level by Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya & Madhukali, a reputed music organization from Bhopal, India as an eminent female artiste who have mastered and excelled in playing male dominated musical instruments.
